Nancy Sahay is currently serving as the Director of Animal Husbandry, GOJ. She is truly blessed with an amalgam of refined grace and intellect.

She was born and brought up in Ranchi and grew up to pursue a B.Tech in Electronics and Communication from BIT Mesra. With her academic dexterity and miraculous knowledge, she cracked the UPSC examination 2014 with an All India Rank 36.

She became a zestfully committed IAS officer and went on to handle posts such as the Probationer at Chaibasa, the Deputy Development Commissioner of Sahibganj, the Sub-divisional Officer Palamu, etc.

Her active involvement in SHGs has helped several women find employment for themselves. She firmly stands by her righteous attitude and thus, handled the current pandemic as the District Magistrate of Deoghar.

Under her scintillating supervision, the Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha elections of 2019 were conducted peacefully. Her focus is on education and women empowerment. An embodiment of brilliance and modesty, she is a head strong individual.
